Awake, the time hath arrived, awake, awake! The heavenly proclamation hath arrived, the healer of lovers hath arrived,
If thou wilt that He visiteth thee, become ill, become ill!

He shall remove the thorn from thy hand; become a garden of roses, become a garden of roses!

Consider thy breast as a cave, the place for the spiritual retreat of the Friend;

If thou art really the "companion of the cave", then enter the cave, enter the cave!

Once time hath brought ruin upon thee, laments will be of no avail,

If thou wilt that he restore thee, become a restorer, become a restorer!

See the world filled with tumult, see the dominion of the victorious(mansur).

If thou wilt to become victorious (mansur), hang on the gallows, hang of the gallows!

In as much as each early morn the zephyr entangles Her Hair,

If thou wilt to benefit from its scent, become a druggist ('attar), become a druggist!

Muslim women rulers, scholars and Sufis . 1.Women Sufies and Scholars Rabia Al Basri and Fatima Naishapuri, born in the 8th century were the early scholars and Sufis. As-Sulami (died in 1021) in his publication Early Sufi Women* mentions that between the 8th and 11th century there who 80 respected Sufi teachers and spritual guides. Some known figures were  Lubna  of Cordoba (Spain) who died in 984, who was a scholar and a mathematician. She presided over the famous Library of Cordoba that had about 500,000 books.  Fatima b Al Qasim  died in 1216. She was also from Andalusia and is regarded as one of the most learned scholar of her time. Zainab B Ahmed  died in 1339 and was an eminent Islamic scholar of the 14th century. A selection from Masnavi  of Rumi "O friends, God has given me inspiration. Oftentimes strong counsel is suggested to the weak. The wit taught by God to the bee Is withheld from the lion and the wild ass. It fills its cells with liquid sweets, For God opens the door of this knowledge to it. The skill taught by God to the silkworm Is a learning beyond the reach of the elephant".
