Al Farabi died in 950 and was born in Khorasan( Iran, Afghanistan central Asia) He spent most of his life in Baghdad. He was a Jurist, a scientist, mathematician, a physicist a philosopher in other words a polymath. He wrote on philosophy, ethics and many other subjects.
